A new digitally delivered low calorie diet service for people with Type 2 diabetes will be launching across NCL from Monday 2 November. As part of a 2-year pilot, NCL is one of ten sites across England that will be rolling out the service, with 500 places available.
To support service roll out and detail required medication changes, a virtual training session for primary care will be held on 2 November between 12.30-2pm (see below).
The session should be attended by at least one health-care professional from each practice, ideally with an interest in diabetes. £200 backfill will be provided per practice for attendance. A recording of the session will also be available on the Camden GP website page.
For more information prior to launch, please visit the NCL Low-Calorie Diet Programme for Type 2 Diabetes service page.
