Did you know that the NHS represents four per cent of all UK greenhouse gas emissions, and NHS England has committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2040?

Each week, Dr Tamsin Ellis, Islington GP and co-clinical lead for sustainability in NCL, will be sharing a green top tip for you to get started in your practice. You can hear more about her journey and impacts on patients in a recent Radio 4 programme, Four Thought: Climate Consultations.

Greener Practice London is a group of healthcare professionals working across London in primary care who believe in improving awareness of the climate emergency, developing and creating greener general practice through sharing ideas and connecting with likeminded individuals. We meet virtually every six weeks to discuss themed topics such as active transport, community gardens and air pollution.

If you're working in primary care and interested in helping your patients and the planet, please email to find out more.
