Plans to relocate West Green Surgery to a new and improved space in Green Lanes has reached another significant milestone with Dr Nazmul Akunjee, GP Principal at the surgery, signing the official agreement to take possession of the new building. The new, purpose-built centre will have the capacity to offer more services and provide care to up to 30,000 patients.
Building work is currently underway and will be completed at the end of March 2022.
This development is part of the CCG’s wider strategy to improve primary care estates and provision across Haringey.
Owen Sloman, Assistant Director, Primary Care Haringey, NHS North Central London CCG, said: ‘The new health centre in Green Lanes is a significant step forward for primary care in Haringey.’
