In support of White Ribbon Day, 16 days of action to end violence against women, Barnet Council is hosting a webinar called Let’s End Male Violence Against Women Together.

Barnet Council is committed to becoming White Ribbon accredited and during this period the council will be encouraging  staff and partners to show their support; especially reaching out to male colleagues and partners to ask them to make the promise, and become a White Ribbon ambassador.

The objectives for the webinar are:

  • To outline the local picture in respect of work with perpetrators
  • To increase awareness of local services
  • To learn about the Drive approach to perpetrators
  • To explore adult family violence as a type of domestic abuse
  • To highlight Barnet Council’s journey to become White Ribbon accredited
  • To seek commitment from male attendees to show their support by signing up as a White Ribbon ambassador (Everyone else can sign up as a champion too)

The webinar takes place 9.30am-1pm on Friday 10 December.

Please visit the Eventbrite page below for more information and to register your place.
