GLL’s Tier 2 Lifestyle Weight Management Programme is a 12-week, group weight-loss programme for overweight or obese adults

The programme comprises of weekly two-hour sessions over 12 weeks. Each session consists of a one-hour group workshop in which participants explore their motivation, increase their nutritional knowledge and discuss tecniques to make lifestyle changes. The second hour is an activity session, in which participants are offered the opportunity to try a range of exercise options.

Motivational interviewing, a behaviour change approach, is at the centre of the delivery style so that the programme not only informs and upskills participants but more importantly elicits meaningful and sustainable changes in lifestyle behaviours.
