Antenatal Services

Islington
Add to CPD

Patients can self-refer to antenatal services at the Royal Free Hospital, University College London Hospital and Whittington Hospital.

The NCL Maternity website has much information, especially for first-time parents.

Additional information is available on the Birth Choice UK and NHS Choices websites.

Islington also offers a Parent and Baby Psychology Service. A team of clinical psychologists offer brief psychological interventions for parents expecting a baby and parents with a baby in the first year who are finding the transition to parenthood challenging. The service provides a safe place for parents or expectant parents to share in confidence their thoughts and feelings about becoming a parent.
