Barnet Integrated Clinical Services (BICS)

This service provides mild to moderate mental health services to children, young people and families in Barnet.

Their services are offered in groups and workshops and can be provided face-to-face or virtually, either in school or in the community. They also offer a range of online content to support wellbeing and good mental health in Barnet.


Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

  • resident of Barnet, or attend a Barnet school and are struggling with mild to moderate social, emotional or behavioural difficulties 

If a child has higher level mental health needs, they should be referred to the CAMHS BEH services in the usual way and/or access crisis support as appropriate, as this is not an emergency service.

 


How to refer

The following clinicians can refer to this service: GPs, Nurses, external agencies, parents, social workers, children homes, education setting staff, Early Help professionals

Family Services staff can refer using ‘BICS request for service’.
