The Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team is for urgent adult psychiatry support

The BEHMHT Adult Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team (CRHTT) provides an urgent, 24/7 assessment and treatment service for people in severe mental health crisis who are at risk of harm or hospital admission.

All calls are received and triaged by the Crisis Telephone Service (0800 151 0023) in line with UK Mental Health Triage Scale. If a referral meets the criteria for CRHTT, the CTS clinician will pass on the referral to the relevant CRHTT, contact and subsequent assessment will be arranged according to urgency of referral.

If a person is already supported by the trust and needs urgent care, please contact their Care Coordinator or relevant team/s in the first instance Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm.

Consultant Connect remains available to call for General medication/ Crisis medication advice line from SLaM (South London and Maudsley).

Referrals in Enfield and Haringey

GPs in Enfield and Haringey are required to contact the Crisis Telephone Service (0800 151 0023) when making a referral. Referrals via emails will not be accepted at this stage.

Referrals in Barnet

GPs in Barnet are required to complete the Crisis Team Referral BEH v1 form (email to beh-tr.behcrisis.telephonehub@nhs.net) and must call Crisis Telephone Service (0800 151 0023) to confirm receipt and for a brief discussion. 
The Crisis Telephone Service has a call-back function. If no answer, please leave your name and number and a clinician will call you back.
