Covid-19 service update

At present all sessions are being offered by telephone or video call. 

Three Session Rapid Response Intervention: Clients who have had a bereavement due to Covid or a bereavement severely affected by Covid may be able to access access our three session intervention, where they will be able to speak to a counsellor within 48 hours.

Service description

This service offers:

  • individual and a group bereavement and loss counselling
  • pre-bereavement counselling for those with a terminally-ill significant other

CCIWBS is part of the Camden Psychological Therapies Partnership (CPTP), along with Age UKiCopeNafsiyat and Women+Health.

Eligibility criteria


  • patients registered with a Camden or Islington GP are able to access the service for free (all other clients are asked to contribute to their sessions on a sliding scale)
