Foot care and podiatry for foot-related problems, with an emphasis on prevention and self-management. Provide short course of treatment (e.g. nail surgery) or long course of treatment for high-risk patients (e.g. management to prevent limb-threatening complications such as neuro/ischaemic diabetics, treatment for patients with rheumatoid conditions). Treatment is carried out in community clinics, hospitals or home visits.

  • Camden Community Health Podiatry Service can also provide assessment and treatment for children and young people.
  • Diabetes patients will have their foot-risk status assessed. High-risk care offered at High Risk Diabetes Foot Clinics at Mary Rankin Diabetes Centre or Gospel Oak Health Centre. Moderate-risk care offered within community service. Low-risk care offered annually at GP practice. If the risk status changes, please re-refer patient for reassessment.

Exclusions

  • Can you put ALL MSK foot condition
  • patients with no foot pathology who only need toenail cutting
  • patients who have a verruca 
  • patients who need custom shoes
