The Royal Free London Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Eating Disorder Service has been running since 2001. It covers six north London boroughs.
The service aims to help young people with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa or atypical variations of these disorders, to recover fully in the community. A key aim is to try to help young people avoid admissions into eating disorder units.
