The Highbury Grove Crisis House provides a support service for short-term crisis interventions, including short-term residential stays, evening drop in centre, and evening-overnight crisis telephone support.

The service comprises two elements:

  • The crisis house is open 24 hours a day and provides short-stay residential accommodation and support for up to two weeks, for 12 adults experiencing a mental health crisis. During this two-week stay one-to-one key working tailored to the customer’s needs is provided as well as daily therapeutic group work sessions.
  • The crisis night centre offering out-of-hours drop in and telephone crisis support is open every evening from 6.30pm-10.30pm, 365 days a year.

How to refer


Self-referrals must be made in person at the evening drop in centre which is open from 6.30pm-10.30pm, seven days a week.
