Floating Support Service

Individual support for vulnerable adults and families (e.g. older people, offenders, victims of domestic violence, physical and learning disabilities, substance misuse issues) who need additional help to sustain their tenancy and achieve independence.

Assistance includes getting rent arrears under control, help with welfare benefits, claims and appeals, debts and budgeting, accessing health services and mental health tenancy-related needs.


Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

  • already be living in their own independent accommodation in housing association, private-rented or owner-occupied sectors but be at risk of losing it
  • be moving into their own independent accommodation from the Adult, Mental Health or Young Person’s Hostel Pathway.
  • moving into settled accommodation in the private rented sector (PRS) via Camden’s Homelessness Prevention Service with an identified support need
