Kooth provides free online emotional and mental health support for young people aged 11-25yrs.
Available 7 days per week, 365 days a year from noon until 10pm weekdays and from 6pm until 10pm on Saturday and Sundays (reduced cover during holidays).
Any young person can access free, safe and secure support with their emotional health and wellbeing from a professional team of qualified counsellors.
We aim to target young people who may have higher needs, those who care leavers, in PRU, YOT etc. They would be able access the free, safe and secure support with their emotional health and wellbeing from a professional team of qualified counsellors.
GP's should feel comfortable to refer young people to Kooth who may require additional support, or while they are waiting for a referral to alternative service.
Kooth also offers other resources that the young person can access if they are not ready to work with the counselling team. View a short video for more information.
A set of FAQs (Kooth Frequently Asked Questions: A quick introduction for children and young people) can be found in the Downloads.
Young people can access this service anonymously by signing onto the Kooth website.
