COVID-19 notice

The drop-in service is currently only available to patients who have another appointment in the hospital. Support groups are now done via zoom and welfare and benefits appointments are phone calls only.

Offers advice and support to anyone affected by cancer or a haematological condition, including family and carers, at any stage of their care pathway – from diagnosis, throughout treatment and beyond.

The service provides:

  • emotional support and information
  • booklets and leaflets about cancer types, haematological conditions and many other topics
  • welfare and benefits advice
  • wig and scarf-tying advice
  • complementary therapies, such as massage and relaxation
  • diet and nutrition advice
  • psychological care and counselling
  • a wellbeing programme of workshops, courses, events, and support groups, including ​​Cancer Support Group and Haematology Support Group (see Downloads)

Eligibility criteria


  • all cancer patients in Camden (regardless of whether they are patients or not at UCLH)

How to refer


Support and information drop-in: Mon–Fri, 9:30am-5pm.

Welfare and benefits drop-in: Tues and Thurs, 11:30am-1:30pm.

The timings of the drop-ins may sometimes change, so please advise patients to phone before coming to make sure the drop-ins are running.
