A second-tier audiology service for children requiring audiological assessments as a result of concerns about hearing problems. The Northern Health Centre is used for clinics.

Eligibility criteria


Children and young people

  • aged six months to 18 years
  • or 19 if still in education and with developmental problems or a disability
  • registered with an Islington GP and/or attending school in Islington 


  • patients who have failed the newborn hearing screen and need a further testing via auditory braintstem response assessments
  • patients who are hearing aid users or are in need of hearing aids
