The Respect Phoneline is a free, confidential helpline, email and webchat service for perpetrators of domestic violence looking for help to stop. Respect helps male and female perpetrators, in heterosexual or same-sex relationships. Partners or ex-partners of perpetrators, as well as concerned friends and family members and frontline workers are also welcome to get in touch for information, advice and support.

The Respect Phoneline is for anyone who is concerned about their own or someone else’s behaviour towards their partner:

  • Men who abuse their female partners (straight or bi)
  • Men who abuse their male partners (gay or bi)
  • Women who abuse their partners
  • Frontline workers working with domestic violence perpetrators

Self-referral

Call free from landlines and mobile phones within the UK. Your call will not appear on itemised bills. You can also call free from BT pay phones.
