The service aims to provide early assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with axial spondyloarthritis.


Eligibility criteria

Inclusions

The service is open for patients who experience 4 out of 5 of the following criteria:

  • Pain which starts during adolescence or early adulthood (45 years old or younger)
  • Pain that is gradual on onset
  • Pain which improves with exercise
  • Pain which does not improve with rest
  • Pain at night which improves when they get up.

We DO NOT ask for HLA B27, CRP or XRAYS/MRI
