The Bridge Service helps people with learning disabilities access sexual health services at the Archway Centre and Mortimer Market Centre. 

It offers:

  • Screening and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections including HIV.
  • Direct phone line for appointments and support for people with learning difficulties, their families, carers and involved professionals.
  • Full contraceptive advice, supply and fitting.
  •  Advice and information about sexual health, sexual behaviour and sexual problems.
  • Free condoms and lubricants.
  • Easy read sexual health information.

Eligibility criteria


Anyone with a learning disability can come to the Bridge Service, no matter where they live.

The services are completely free.

How to refer

The following clinicians can refer to this service: GPs


People with learning disabilities can refer themselves or be referred by GPs, family members, carers, case workers or social workers (with the client’s consent).
