The Bridge Service supports anyone over 16 with learning disabilities to access sexual health services in Camden & Islington.

The service is available at The Archway (Islington) and Mortimer Market Centre (Camden) sexual health clinics offering:

  • screening and treatment for all sexually transmitted infections including HIV
  • advice and information on sexual health, relationships and referral for sexual difficulties.
  • contraceptive advice,  supply and fit (IUD/ Implant).
  • emergency contraception (walk-in).
  • PEP & PrEP (Post and Pre exposure prophylaxis for HIV).
  • free condoms and lubricant.
  • LGBTQI+ support and advice.
  • outreach / RSE sessions to community learning disability organisations and colleges.
  • linked with Safeguarding Team
  • all services are free of charge

Eligibility criteria


  • The Bridge service operates in the boroughs of Camden and Islington, but anyone over 16 with a learning disability is welcome to access the service from other boroughs. 

How to refer

The following clinicians can refer to this service: GPs, Nurses, Patients can self refer and carers / family.
