The Dahlia Project is a specialist service for women who have undergone female genital mutilation (FGM), run by the health advocacy service Manor Gardens Welfare Trust.
The Dahlia Project aims to provide a safe space for women who have experienced FGM. It provides therapeutic support groups in areas of London where there is need so that women can access support easily. It ensures a safe and non-judgemental environment for all women.
The service can also provide additional support to survivors of FGM, including referrals to specialist clinics. If the service cannot offer adequate support for particular queries and issues, it will direct users to more appropriate services. The service also provides a range of training and community workshops delivered by FGM specialists.
