Islington GP Federation (IGPF) is providing a new single point of access gynaecology service across Haringey and Islington. The service will be taking referrals from Monday 21st September 2020.
About the service
What is fundamental to the service?
Each referral will go through administrative and clinical triage prior to appointment booking. Patients will be referred on to secondary care where necessary or have their treatment managed by the service.
We will run a variety of sessions across the week, from at least three different clinic locations. At each location, there will a GPwSI and a gynaecology consultant.
Who will provide the service?
The GPwSIs directly employed by the service supported by the consultant gynaecologist from local Trusts.

Where will the service be provided?
The service will be provided from clinic locations across Haringey and Islington, two of which are existing locations in the current community gynaecology service.
