The Gynaecology Collaborative

Add to CPD

The Gynaecology Collaborative, a new service for all gynaecology referrals in Haringey and Islington, was launched on 21 September 2020.

You may refer into the service, operated by Islington GP Federations in partnership with Whittington Health, North Middlesex and UCLH Trusts, whether your intended target is a primary or secondary care provider.

Each referral will go through administrative and clinical triage prior to appointment booking. Patients will be referred on to secondary care where necessary or have their treatment managed by the service. For more information, see the service FAQ document in the Downloads section on the right.

See Pathways (right hand side) for The Gynaecology Collaborative clinical pathways.

The service will run a variety of sessions across the week, from at least three different clinic locations. At each location, there will a GPwSI, directly employed by the service, supported by a gynaecology consultant.

See below for locations where this service is provided.

The service will be administered from IGPF’s offices in Hornsey Street, Islington. The clinical leads for the service are Dr Amita Varma and Dr Belinda Solomon.
