Transient ischaemic attack (TIA) clinics providing rapid assessment and treatment run daily (Monday to Friday) at Barnet Hospital and the Royal Free Hospital. The clinics aim to see all patients within 24 hours of referral.

Royal Free London does not run a weekend service.

From midday on Friday to 9am on Monday, refer patients to the University College London Hospitals hyper-acute stroke unit (HASU), via the HASU specialist registrar.

If the local unit is Barnet Hospital or Royal Free Hospital (or in case of patient preference for these locations) please refer using the form that can be downloaded here and email to the correct location address at BH or RFH (see below).
