Access advice on direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC) initiation and monitoring through the e-Referrals Advice and Guidance service. Most trusts have advice services under ‘Specialty – Haematology’ and ‘Clinic Type – Anti Coagulant’.
For specific clinical information relating to warfarin and DOACs please see enhanced services on the right. An NCL referral form for DOAC or warfarin has been devised for those patients who still require a secondary care service, it can be found in ISL global documents > Anticoagulation > NCL DOAC anticoagulation referral
