The purpose of the session will be to raise awareness of staff about the experiences of people with learning disabilities of accessing primary care services in Camden. The session will also touch upon the Accessible Information Standard and providing information in easy read.

 Role Play delivered by Surge (group of local people with learning disabilities presenting their experiences of health care in primary care). This will cover what works and what can be improved.
 Accessible information Standard: a solution for providing information in easy read - delivered by Richard Lohan accessible information officer at London Borough of Camden
 The experiences of supporting patients at Hampstead Group Practice

The annual diabetes GP conference promises to be an interesting and informative afternoon. There will be updates from the diabetes integrated practice unit, diabetes aspects of the planned care LES, the diabetes prevention programme, management of patients with diabetes and serious mental illness,  along with prescribing and management updates.
